History of Development

Each of these software programs are designed to protect some aspect of computers, just as Spyware Blaster is.
Functionality
There are some distinguishing difference between Spyware Blaster and other anti-spyware software programs. The main difference is that Spyware Blaster is not a program that will remove spyware already installed but rather after it is installed it will search for spyware coming in and protect against it. The three main functions of the software are to prevent Active-X spyware from being installed (and other similar programs), blocks cookies that track personal information, and restrict visits to potentially dangerous websites. Spyware Blaster can also be used in conjunction with other anti-virus and protection programs, allowing users to benefit from comprehensive protection.
Known Issues
While there are no real known issues with the Spyware Blaster anti-spyware software there are some issues generally associated with these types of software that users of Spyware Blaster may experience. Issues with anti-spyware programs not running as good as they could with other protection programs is a common issue with these types of programs. In additon many anti-spyware programs are known to block preceived threats that end up not really being threats at all. Other than these minor issues, which may not even affect users of Spyware Blaster, the software seems to work as it is intended to.
